On June 8th, 2021, the General Statistics Office held a training conference of profession and software for individual business establishments; religious, beliefs establishments of Economic Census 2021. Mr. Nguyen Trung Tien, Head of the Standing Group of the Steering Committee of the Central Economic Census, Deputy Director of the General Statistics Office (GSO) chaired the conference. Attending the conference directly at the headquarters of the General Statistics Office, there were representatives of the Central Economic Census Standing Team, the supervisors summoned to participate in the supervision of the  Economic Census 2021 and a number of applications relevant person of the General Statistics Office. Attending the conference online, there were bridge points at 63 Provincial Statistics Office and 160 District Statistical Offices.

The 2021 Economic Census collects information on economic and non-business establishments to meet the following purposes: Assess the development in number, size and labor of economic establishments; production and business results; the level of information technology application; structure, distribution of establishments and labor by localities, economic sectors and forms of ownership in order to meet the management requirements of the Party, the State, ministries, branches and localities.
